windows xp on 550MHz PIII?

how slow it could be?i need it for basic tasks, like internet browsing and PDF ebooks.and may install Kaspersky anti virus also.would it be impossible to work on?P.S the memory is 512MB and it's a laptopP.P.S 10GB harddisk
