Windows xp has changed appearance!?

Alright My computer crashed. So I recovered it back how it was when shipped from the factory. The task menu bar use to be a shiny silver. Now its blue like a basic Xp edition. What happened here. Now does only media Center have that theme? Just making sure that my computer use to have an upgrade and now it doesn't. ( I bought this used.)
