way? I have a 12" Alpine Type-R subwoofer rated at 500 watts RMS (dual voice coil subwoofer). I also have a Mono amp rated at 500 watts RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms. Willthis setup blow my sub or amp? I want to push it at full power is that fine or shoud I not? I think im gonna wire it at as a series parallel so that the amp thinks its 2 ohms and pushes 500 watts rms.2. I'm gonna get 2 subs and 2 amps so my system is going to be around 1000 watts RMS, do I need a capicitor? I have a 2001 Civic. 3. Should I get dynamat or is there something better out there now? How many sq.ft do you think I need4. I heard that the alpine subs sound better with a alpine deck is that true?5. Distributor cap. 4 guage in 8 guage out. Is this one any good?6.
