yes, but definitely not now, just like when the first cd was made in the mid 80's you did not have CD-burning technology on your PC until the mid 90's. Of course it will be faster thatn 10 years from now. However, remind yourself that when the first cd burner came out, it was burjning at 1X. I guess peopel thought that was fast, but now you know the speeds they are at. I am sure the same will be for blu-ray, expecially form a marketing standpoint, where every year they companies get to make more money buy selling a newwer faster burner ... faster by maybe one or two more X's.
