Why won't all my songs on my itunes library which...

...I downloaded from limewire upload onto my new ipod classic? My gf's 2nd generation ipod pink 4GB uploads all songs that I downloaded from limewire and then transferred to itunes, but my new ipod classic 80GB won't.
