why people, in general, love Macintosh...

...computers? It's serious. I not into computers... so I don't know it. I just know that when people say "I have a mac... at home..." or a "mac notebook", the listeners react: Wow, that's good...So, why such behavior? Is it made of gold or sth similar?Tnx!ie
