Why does my computer with Windows Vista restarts

automatically when I get back on it the next morning? I just got my dell computer. I noticed when I'm off it for the night and walk away, the next morning when I go to get back on it, I wiggle the mouse and it says it's shutting down and restarts itself. Why does it restart?
