well Ipods are obviously alot more popular and therefore they make alot more "accesories for." Like car raido hookups and Ihomes. But, i recently bought a Sansa Sandisk. It has a radio (which you can record live for up to 3 hours) its got rapsody and video.. I bought the 6g and have about 250 songs and 2 movies + recorded radio. Sansa is the company that makes the ipod memory and is now going to break away from ipod so technically your using the same thing as an ipod. I also use Windows media tdo all the music transfering itunes does not work

ipods are better they come in different memory amounts you can plug them into speakers they have games on them calendars and you can hook them up to cars and everything.. go for the ipod

MP3iPods are not quality players. Apple is facing tons of class-action law suits due to their imperfect players. Their batteries are not good, and the hard drive models fail a whopping 20%!!Go with anyting other than an iPod..O and if anyone says iPod IS an MP3 player, they are mistaken. They are technically an AAC player that plays mp3. It's like saying a MAC is a PC....that's just not true...Hope that helps...

i have an ipod but i would tell you to invest in something different which is like an ipod but cheaper. ipods are just expensive because of the apple brand. try a zune or something. it'll save you money.

ipod is an mp3 player =P but to answer your question there are many diffrent other brands with the same space as an ipod and even better features for probaly 50%-60% less

they are basicly the same thing
