Where can I download Linux operating system...
...onto a cd for free? my computer has a bug with start up so i want to use linux, but the internet isnt working on that computer so i need to download it onto a cd and boot it from my other messed up computer.can you give me instructions as well?I like Freespire but can someone give me directions, only directions to navigate through the site and put it on a cdWell i got to the mirror sites but i got last atDistromania.comMadTux.org free downloadIndiana University - FTPIndiana University - HTTPd.Linux-Bg.orgthen follow instructions on how to burn it to disk* theres a free iso burn too in that pageand poof all done!never mind i got it

Best answer when you have a messed up computer is to get one of your friends to download and burn a Linux CD for you, since you said you have a connection problem.I would suggest getting pclinuxos which can boot as a livecd without loading to your hard drive. Why? you may have pictures or something you want to keep before you wipe out the hard drive.
