Whats soo bad about Windows Vista?

well I'm scared now because I hear lots of ppl bash Windows Vista...and well now im wishing I got a Mac Laptop instead of The Dell Laptop BOooOOO!!!Sooo...what are the downsides?I obviously don't know much about Computers.
