Whats an alternative to memory candles?

I just posted about them...im considering them...but then I thought what if it's windy outside? It will be outside but on a veranda...if we don't end up doing candles...I know I want a photo..but I want something for my two bridesmaids to do if they like.. (I would have them light the cooresponding candle to their great grandmother)I've got five months left and im getting antsy!
