What will happen if i update a worng BIOS to...
...my computer??? If i accidentally update a wrong BIOS to my computer, i know that my computer won't boot up, but can i fix my computer's motherboard later if i have the backup of my old BIOS? or do i have to just throw the scrap and buy a new one?

depends .Some people say sometimes. You may be screwed.Biggest problem ( and they warn you ) is not to disrupt power or unplug during the process.Unless you are having problems or desperatly need a new feature it is best wise not to update the bios in a routine fashion. If you are perfectly sure it is the rigtht bios you cannot go too far wrong. Most will want you if it is the wrong bios.Best to be conservativeIf is really the corrrect bios you should be ok

If you have a back-up of the old bios (or) can get a copy of the old bios you can reinstall it & all should be fine.

there's a reset jumper on your motherboard. try to reset it, then it might work again.

just take the battery out of the mo/bo for a few seconds and pluck it back in and it should go back to default settings. this is what we do in case of an overclock gone awry anyways.
