What ram is required for my motherboard?

I,ve been given a motherboard with no ram in it .How do a know what type of ram it uses.It apprears to be two slot.Theres no markings on the board.Except amd on the fan .I've tried to get at the chip but the clip holding the fan heat sink is difficult to open.Its two silver clips either side.It was from an emachines pc.
