i need an external microphone that I can use with my panasonic camcorder (mini mic jack) and my imac garage band (will need a connecting piece of hardware?). i want to record discussions for podcasts, record people for mini documentaries, and record spoken and some singing voice for my original songs. not too fancy - my work will only go out on the internet so too high a quality will be wasted - but something much, much better than a USB computer mic. I'm hoping to get something used for around $300. I'd also like advice on where to go in Sydney (inner west or city preferred) to buy this kind of mic.Thanks!
