cache memory and intel CPU speed? sometimes, CPU speed is high ,but cache memory is small ,you feel that your computer speed is improportional to CPU speed ,because cache memory is small ,so how can we choose our computer so that excellent compatibility is guaranteed? Is there any other computer parts that take part in this compatibility ? what are they ? please I want answers in details.

Cash memnory is containd in the chip itself. For example Celron chips may have only 512k while the pentium versions may came with 2 megs. I am afraind that you will have to buy the pentium version to get the greater amounts of cach.What do you mean by compatibilty? Cache memory is interal and it is compatibible with all programs.You used to be able to upgrade cache memory many years ago, but not today. Each processor like intel or athalon all have diffreint cache sets. It is just a matter of prefrence today.
