What Ipod or similar is compatible for

downloading songs from our Yahoo music service that we are members of? My wife is interested in an Ipod or something similar for listening to while walking or exercising. I saw somewhere that the Ipod was not compatible with the Yahoo music service? Is this correct? Do I need to be looking at a different piece of equipment to download to?
