TV blows fuse when Degaussing Coil is plugged in. Any

troubleshooting ideas? The TV is a Samsung TXR3079WH. With the Degaussing coil plugged in, the TV will blow the fuse. If you unplug the Degaussing coil the TV will function, but needs to be degaussed (go figure). I replaced the PTC thermistor but it still fails with the Degaussing coil plugged in. Does anyone have any thoughts on a troubleshooting methodology?Thanks in advance!
