First up, I admit when it comes to this sort of thing, it's all way above my head! Basically, my computer fix-it genius type guy took a look at my pc the other day and told me my graphics card had died, which leaves me with the problem of not being able to play The sims 2 and other games any more. So, did a bit of research (discovered my present card is APG, and has ATI written on it - which means very little to me!). Anyway, I think the GEforce FX5900 would work on my pc (holler if I'm wrong though...), and I think it would work ok with The Sims 2 - does anyone know one way or the other?I should also mention that one of the reasons I'm looking at this particular card is because I'm on a bit of a tight budget.
