We have 15 XP computers in our school and 10 of the computers are connected to the shared internet connection, but 5 of the computers could not connect to the internet. We can just connect using the netmeeting, desktop network connection and netop school to all computers without any problem. In internet protocol properties, I repeated the same IP setting setup to other 5 computers but it did not work, it just going to restart the computer and as I go back to the IP settings it still remain blank and no other entries were made.
