Setup a webcam to record and store video via ftp or

http... Any thoughts? Basically I am trying to setup a web cam and have it record my pets in my house during the day. How can I setup this type of project where it stores the video via online? It would be nice to watch my pets while I am away and I'm curious to see, if anyone hasn't already figured this out. Any suggestions?
