microphone) on Dell Inspiron 1720 ? I use Freecorder software.? I recently got a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop and have been having trouble recording sound on it. I can record my microphone, that is absolutely fine. But on my old laptop, I used to be able to record other sounds that are playing on my computer. Like sounds from mp3s, videos, and all of that.I use Freecorder, and I used to be able to set the sound on the "sound card" bit on the settings to the sound card but now there is only "microphone/line-in" or "microphone array" and neither of them record sound off anything other than the microphone.Is there anything I can do to get it to work? It's not the software. So er, do I have to replace the soundcard or do I just have to change some options or whatever?Thanks.
