Problem with downloading Ipod Video!!HELP

PLEASE!!? Ok so..I purchased a movie off Itunes, and then it said that "all downloads have been paused, the disk you are downloading is too full.Removing files, and emptying the Recycle Bin will help free up additional space." So i removed tons of unused programs, and deleted a lot of stuff, and emptied the Recycle Bin probably like 5 times.But the popup saying that I don't have enough space is still coming up, and won't let me download the movie!! Oh my gosh!! Please someone help me!!
