Okay so I have a hp laptop but I forgot my...

...login password and my mom threw out the restart cd.? So since I have forgotten the password and I have tried remembering it for like 2 weeks, and my mom threw out the restart cd. What am I suppose to do. I tried taking it to the store but there asking alot of money to restart the computer. So is there any other way my computer can be restarted HELP PLEASE
