ok you need to listen to all of this to know my problemI reinstalled windows xp and now i have no sound. I have the same speakers as i've always had and they've always worked. I've reinstalled windows before the same way, but i still had sound after the reinstall. This time i dont.The sound doesn't work from my computer speakers OR my external speakers. I sometimes get a sort of 'eep' sound when something goes wrong, which is weird as the computer won't play any other sounds.When i go to Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel it says 'No Audio Device' so i cant do anything there. In device manager there is nothing under sounds except codecs and stuff. I've tried adding new hardware but it won't find my speakers. My speakers didn't come with an installation disc.My speakers are from the company 'tsunami'. My computer (motherboard or whatever) is a HP Vectra 4L00. I cant find any sound drivers to download for this model.I would really appreciate any help thx.
