I saty in a students hostel, and i just got a new internet connection ,local area network it showes it is shared and firewalled , does it mean that every body in our hostel get acces to my computer , how to prevent this happening , can they see what i am browsing ,my desk top ? I have switched on my fire wall ,is this sufficient from gaining unauthorised access?when i opened the advanced window , there is no option of sharing , there is only one option of firewall.
