My computer has a problem communicating with my...

...lexmark 1300 series printer. Why? I tried troubleshooting.? It say problem communicating with the printer when I try to print a document. I tried all the troubleshooting advice it said, but none of it work. It said check the usb cable and port, power on and power of the printer and also uninstalling and reinstalling the printer. None of it worked. Can somebody help me?
