access into my private website and possibly hack it. Can I sue ? So my boss knew that I was going to leave the company in a few days as I had told him. He gets on my work computer and then starts pulling up websites that I had been to. After that he starts logging on USING MY CREDENTIALS onto my websites and starts deleting stuff and changing passwords etc. I contacted my server company and had them give me the access logs and surely it shows someone from work (its a 4 person tiny office) doing all sorts of things. My question is can I sue him for accessing/hacking my private files and network ? None of my personal files were on my work computer. He gained access to my private yahoo/gmail emails, my website servers etc etc using a password save utility that i had used in the past. I can understand him asking me about sites I had been to but I did not expect him to LOG ON using my credentials and possibly damaging me. Do I have a case and if so how much trouble is he in ?
