My ambient light sensor on my iPhone does not...

...work...if i take it into the apple store will they replace it? The light sensor does not work on my iphone and i am wondering if they would give me a new one (refurb at least) like they do with ipods. I would rather find out here rather than driving to the mall and then finding out they won't replace it. How would they test the phone?
