Motherboard chipset compatibility help?

Will a [Intel Pentium D 930 Presler 3.0GHz 2 x 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Dual Core Processor] work with a [ASUS P5LD2 Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard]?

Im not sure completely but i think it mostly depends on if the processor fits in the motherboard so i believe it wil work.
