laptop setup?

i have around 2k to spend on a laptop and i'm in desperate need of one that is more than functional. I need one that can run multiple programs and not lag and is very versatile. core 2 duo processor 2.2 ghZless than 6 lbs2gb ram100+gb HDD14.1-15.4 screenlong battery life ( purchase extra battery?)
