itunes doesnt sync iPhone and freezes but does sync

iPod!!! HELLLPPPPP!!!? my itunes freezes whenever i try to sync my iPhone but worked and synced my iPod just fine. also i cant connect to the store, a error message says can not connect to internet but when I open a web page the web works so it cant be my connection.
