...format...if the CD is copy protected? I'm thinking about getting a MP3 player. Most of my CD's can be ripped, but two of my new CD's are copy protected. I read somewhere that you can convert songs from copy protected CD's to MP3 format...but how? And is it legal? I'm aware that I can purchase songs online, but I don't have a MP3 player yet. It might be months before I even get one....Does it make sense for me to continue buying regular CD's, knowing that I plan to get a MP3 player in the future? (By the way, I don't want to purchase songs online and put them on a CDR...My car stereo won't play CDR's properly. Store-bought CD's play fine though...and I'm not going to buy a better car stereo just to play CDR's.)
