When you come to an open forum like this - you can't put any qualifiers on your question - people will answer whether you want them too or not.Having said that, I would NEVER mix the two versions like I think you are going to. You mean you would even seriously think of upgrading Windows XP japanese version to Vista English? Upgrading between different language versions of the same operating system doesn't even work well in Microsoft - even though they tell you that it will. Now if the question is can you transfer files between one computer that runs Windows Vista English and Windows XP japanese, the answer to that one is "of course".

Windows Vista together with Office 2007 has advanced asian language text handling capabilities as compared to all previous versions of Windows. With that said, what is your question? What do you mean by 'compatible'?If you mean that will files previously created in XP Japanese version be portable to the new Vista in English version, that's possible but not without a few tweaks and you'd probably need to install the Office 2007 with language packs. If you are asking whether if 2 computers, one with XP Japanese and another with Vista English, were to communicate with each other and transfer files to one another over a network, then yes. They can without any problem. If you are asking whether the 2 OSs can reside together on one computer, then I'd say forget about it and just choose one.

It's possible to learn Window's Vista in English languages you also load in your computer/Pc in English languages. Only you do more easily, if you want do this Vista in English language. When you work on your Pc then you go in setting option and choose langauage option and you click on the United English langauage and then you click the OK button the close that dialog box. Then you easily work in Windows Vista in English langauage. And if you want learn in Japanese langauage then you work do of that type like English langauage. To that type you learn more about in Windows Vista .Thank you.
