Is the IPhone worth it?

I am thinking about getting an IPhone for my birthday and i am verrry undecided. The IPhone is pretty expensive but it is also an Ipod. Please Help!!!I dont really care about productivity. I pretty much want the phone because its cool, but i do want it to work!
