Ipod Nano - Download HELP!?

I already have music in my itunes but they were already in my document & i didn't pay for them....1) Can I download music without paying for it (that came out of my computer-document)?2) Do I have to sign up in order to download itune music?3) Do I have to pay music with a credit card?
