Iphone or T-mobile's NEW sidekick?

I want a new phone but im not sure what i want, i love the iphone but it has no insurance,...wth? plus i heard it freezes alot. BUT.... i wana kno 4rm the people who kno best...(iphone consumers) ...wut r the pros and cons of the iphone? and is the iphone worth having?
