Iphone external hard drive help?

Is there any sort of electronics store or repair shop where i could give them my 30GB iPod Video and my iPhone and they would put the Video's hard drive on the iPhone and give it back to me? If so how much would the procedure cost? Or is it a simple enough job to do on my own?
