I've been fixing up an old Thinkpad 600X for a friend. She wanted to use iTunes on the laptop, but it came with Windows 98SE, and that is incompatible. So I took the laptop, and installed a) more RAM and b) Windows XP. Everything works ok, except for the sound. The motherboard sound works, but the soundcard doesn't.I Beleive it's a "Crystal SoundFusion" soundcard. I've scoured the web and haven't had any luck finding XP drivers. I forced some windows2000 drivers last night, and that screwed the laptop as it is now saying "irql_not_less_or_equal" So i'll re-install windows tonight. Is there any 'legacy' drivers i can get from MS or anything that'll get this soundcard working? I tried windows update, but that couldn't help either.Any help please?!
