I lose my internet connection when i...

...change to and from ACDC/Battery power on my notebook? yes! everytime i plug or unplug the power to my notebook, i lose my internet connection! i am on simple adsl ethernet connection and it is screwing up all my downloads!Currently using a ACER ASPIER 642CLCidoes anyone know the problem?? thanks! very much!!!
