through through a lan i now share with an xbox live.? now i can't download and everything always times out. i know xbox live pretty much hogs the bandwidth of anything. i have classes online and stuff to download, so this poses a problem. i heard about bandwidth shaping but my connection is a big tangled web of generic routers and wires thanks to the company that hooked it up. is there a way to basically give me more bandwitdh on my computer, or cut off the xbox 360s bandwidth (i'm unable to get on it, as it's not mine)? this is ridiculous.
