and unwanted internet pop-ups on my pc. How can i eliminate them? Ad-aware, Norton anti virus, Ashampoo antispyware and some other programmes were unsuccessful to eliminating this problem. There are diturbing unreal virus alerts on my taskbar which i don't know how can i remove them?! Also when i'm working with internet some unwanted windows open! My norton antivirus didn't detect any virus on my PC.

If it is that bad, you will just need to reinstall Windows. Save your important files to CD or USB drive, get the drivers for your motherboard, etc. NOt really worth fighting any more.

I used to have this problem too! First of all, when you are not surfing the web, or just want to leave a page open, but not do anything else, either switch off your modem, or go to 'work offline'. The popups won't be able to get through. This will send negative information back to the source of the pop-up/advert, and after a few days will stop. Next go to http://www.blueyonder.co.uk and download 'PC Guard' This will clean off more than just viruses: spyware, explicit content, unwanted cookies and more. Hope this helps

I was experiencing the very same problem only a month ago, bombarded with pop ups and winfixer antivirus pop ups freezing pc as well as pc running slow. I have had Norton for over two years now, and thought that is all I needed untill a warning from Norton informed me a Trojan virus had been detected and Norton was would not be able to remove it. I had installed a couple of different products and now my pc is performing great, and no more pop ups whatsoever, first I installed Xoftspy which detected 1,700 infections and removed them and pc was performing much better but still some pop ups , a week later I installed Spyware Doctor which detected even more infections and trojans and removed them effectively.. No more pop ups whatsoever.. I do not need Xoftspy but now and again I run a scan with it after a scan with Spyware doctor and it comes up clean same with Norton, if I run a scan with these other two before a scan with S D they both detect infections so it appears that S D is detecting and removing eveything that the other two are not able to do.. I am not trying to push S D onto you, I do suggest that you check out some sites and make your own decisions on information you gather about other great products available : this site is very good http://www.techsupportalert.com/free-vs-...htmanother good site to look overhttp://www.adwarereport.com/mt/archives/....htmlheaps of information on this sitehttp://www.spywarewarrior.com/I noticed one of the answers Spydoctor, there is spydoctor and spyware doctor, they are not the same, information on spywarwarrior says that spydoctor is a scam/rogue, it may have just been a miss spelling from the person who submitted an answer, Im pretty sure he meant Spyware doctor where you can get Spyware Doctor from pc tools and do a free scan but will have to buy the product to remove any thing it detects. But yes go to PC tools as he suggested

Hi there,This is a recurring problem lately, with a new breed of malware released which the leading security vendors are struggling to deal with. One such product which is able to deal with these new threats is Prevx1. This is an All-in-One solution that protects you from Viruses / Spyware / Adware / Trojans, etc nad has been successful in removing malware that the leading vendors have failed at.They are currently offering a 60 Day Free Trial of their product which you can download from:http://info.prevx.com/downloadremove.aspI would certainly give this a go if your current attempts have failed.
