My uncle gave me some speakers (subs) with an amp. Now I really don't know anything about this type of stuff. But I went online and found some info on how to correctly install this stuff, which I did and everything works fine.It sounds really loud, a lot of bass. Everything seems to be working, but now I'm interested in how to get the best sound quality out of the system. I've heard around about cross-overs being for subs, well I just hooked up positive to positive and neg to neg for the speakers to the amp. Should they be hooked up different (cross-over, whatever that is)? The other speakers hooked up are factory, and the quality is bad. I hear a lot of bass. The vocals seem to be very low so I've turned up the treble, as I said the bass is nice, my windows shake.I plan on replacing my factory stuff with some after-market speakers, my question is should i get some tweeters to make the vocals better? Would a cross over help? Amp is A2201T Audiobahn & Audiobahn 10''s.I'm not 100% sure on the speakers being 10''s, (still new to this speaker/radio stuff). Here's a link to the stuff, maybe you can tell. The amp has an X-OVER thing that is set to LPF (whatever that is). Everything sounds really good except the vocals. Basically i want to have good bass (which i have) and good vocals. Need to know what is the best way to achieve this. I'm using 8AWG wire for the amp/ground. Should i switch to 4 (i think 8 is enough)? Tweeters or regular after-market 6 1/2s?http://img157.imageshack.us/my.php?image...081th5.jpg
