how to setup LAN for sharing a dsl line??
iam going to subscribe for a dsl line and i have two computer how do i share the internet??what do i need to buy like lan card and what else??and how do i create the network for the shared internet??

When you order your DSL, order a wireless router from your DSL provider. Then be sure all of your PC's have a wireless card. If they do not, buy one for each. They will run about $35 each. Set up the DSL and router first. Remember the WEP key (a really long password) and then set up your pcs. Everything will come with easy instructions.

Wireless> Buy an Acess point> connect it to the internet> Buy a Wireless Internet card> insert it into the Computer> Connect the computer to the Wireless Router.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Wired> Buy a Router> Connect it> buy wires to connect to the computer>Buy a Wired Card> connect the Computer with the wire.

most dsl providers will give you a 4 port dsl modem / routerso all you need is NIC cards in each computerthe tcp/ip protocol installed ( which is done when you install the NIC card in the computers, new computer automatically have them installed onboard )

you can setup lan sharing by click at (add network place) then click "next"and choose(choose another network location) after that click "next"and click at "browse" click in any folder and press "OK" and click "next" and write your network name and press finish the window will close and there will be a folder as your name which you write it before now you 'll be have a network
