How do i Run Ubuntu on Microsoft Windows XP?

i would like to run linuxes ubuntubut want to keep xp at the same timehow do i install ubuntu and be cabable of using resuming windowsi have already downlaoded iti dont want any answers about external servers or whateverideally i would like to be able to choose at start up
