How do I re-install your sound card drivers...

...because my PC keeps shutting down & says I have Bad Direct Sound? driver. Please install proper drives or select another device in configuration. Also, what is Freedom Filter? It says when I log back on that Freedom Filter caused an error & had to be shut down. Is this a program I can just uninstall from my PC?
