How do you get rid of Vista without a CD?

I recently installed Vista on to my Dell Inspiron 6400 (bad idea). The Inspiron is "Vista capable," but definitely wasn't made for Vista. So now I want Vista off my computer (and XP back), and I'm willing to reformat my hard drive to do it. The problem is that I don't have the CD that came with the computer, so I need a way to reformat the computer from Vista back to factory condition without the CD. Help?
