I have an answer....First just put songs in your MICRO SD card and then put it in your phone play the songs and then eject the card and put it back in the computer.Download WavePad...it's free....Open your mp3 in there and trim the song under 300kb, save the output as .mp3then that file put it in the Audio folder in your microsd cardWhen you put the card in the phone go to MENU...then MY STUFF and then press right scroll to go under sd card files, and you will see your file in there....Press option set as and set it as your ring tone....Hope this helps.....
