plug router to modem, follow instructions on router to set up router to send out wifi signals for computer to receive. Install wireless network card, then search for wireless access points and connect.

Get a wireless access point/router radio(you have some like,NetGear MR814 Wireless 802.11b/g Router,Linksys Internet Broadband Etherfast Cable/Router,D-LINK wireless DSL/Cable Router/Print Server DI-824VUP)Get a wireless card also(please note if what you are getting is a wireless router of b/g class, get same for wireless card as card of b class will not work with g class of router) get the Access point stationed at a central point of where you are making the network. follow the installation manual to get your access router configured. I would suggest you set your network as DHCP as this will save you more time and you don't have to worry about IP conflict on the network. When you have done that, get the wireless network cards installed on all the computers you intend putting on the network(they normally come with installation manual as well) make sure that the BSSID on the wireless network card is same as the SSID you have on your wireless access router(most access routers come with WIRELESS set as the SSID but you can change it to anything you want) After you have done all that, reboot your access point router. Then restart all the computers you have on the network, your wireless network will be up and running in few minutes. please remember to configure you access point router as DHCP so that the router can assign IP addresses to all the computers on the network else if you set it as Static, you will have to assign IP addresses to the computers your self. Good luck, you can mail me if you need more info or explanation.
