...a Windows installation CD? I have an old computer and had installed Ubuntu 6.06 alongside the Windows XP Pro that I already had. I tried to get rid of Ubuntu by formatting it's drive, but this didn't get rid of GRUB which stopped the boot process at error 17 and I couldn't acces XP(I solved this by reinstalling Ubuntu). However I want only to keep the XP, so how do I get rid of GRUB knowing that I don't have an XP installation CD?
