I've got an Acer Aspire T180 with the standard sound card that comes with it. Yesterday I was using the mic in jack on the front panel and suddenly 'Realtek HD Audio manager' goes crazy and tells me I've plugged in 3 jacks into the rear panel and all output and input stopped. I restarted the computer and realtek manager told me all jacks were unplugged, even when i plugged the speakers in it didn't recognise them and according to windows (vista) playback devices it wasn't 'plugged in'.Anyways I went to Acer's support website and reinstalled the drivers and now windows playback lists the speakers as working but still not output, and realtek manager still doesn't detect when i plug things in.I've try all the obvious things like unmuting and turning the volume up, plugging the speakers in the front changing settings in the audio manager but still nothing.I've even tried things like making sure the computer isn't muted in BIOS and ensuring the card is not hot. What should I do?
